Today we worked on doubling up attacks on the same side, in particular in setting up attacks to the body. Here are highlights of Hatton vs Castillo as mentioned in class, it highlights several examples of what we worked on. Another thing you'll see here is use of clinch with boxing, something we will be focusing on in an upcoming clinch class.

Nice finishing sequence from Tim Bradley. In particular note a concept we've been working in class recently, doubling up punches with the same hand at different levels'angles, Here it's double lead hand low-high, followed by double rear hand low-high. We will work on this more in class tonight.

Tonight we worked more on lead hooks to the body and different ways of setting it up. Here's the video that we watched in class of boxer Mickey Ward, watch for several examples of one of the combinations that we worked tonight and one of his favorite combination, doubling up with the 3 (high)-3 (low).
